Kinross R.F.C.

Kinross travel to play Orkney in the Caledonian Division 1 league on Saturday 3rd April. I propose that we use this as a mini tour as every visit to the island thus far has been a whistle stop tour. The planned itinerary is as follow:

Friday 2^nd April:

Coach departs Kinross circa 2pm to Thurso

Arrive Thurso circa 8pm for over night stay at The Weigh Inn

Saturday 3^rd April:

9am Ferry from Gills Bay to St Margarets Hope

Coach to Kirkwall Hotel in Kirkwall

Coach to ORFC for match

Enjoy post match hospitality

Over night stay in Kirkwall Hotel

Sunday 4^th April:

Coach from Kirkwall to St Margarets Hope

12noon ferry from St Margarets Hope to Gills Bay

Coach Gills Bay back to Kinross for circa 9pm

There are currently 34 spaces available – 18 players and 16 supporters. Cost will be £70 - £100 but this will depend on fund raising events prior to this and the amount the SRU and KRFC will provide. Can you please indicate if you are interested so I can take this further with the committee on Monday night?
